Student Welfare Home
As students at the University of Stirling, you have a vast array
of welfare and support providers around you. Whatever you feel you
need help with, there is most certainly someone you can approach,
and in the rare circumstance where we cannot help you directly,
we can always recommend an agency or support group in the local
area who can.
The following pages offer advice on finding support on different problems that you may face. If you can’t find any information, get in touch with your Hall/Flat Assistant as soon as you can, as they can provide more information than we can include on this website:
General Statement regarding Confidentiality: Any conversation you have with any member of Residential Services staff will remain totally confidential. The only exceptions to this rule are those in which the life of those students concerned is or might be endangered, or where the support worker might be liable to criminal and/or civil prosecution in the event of non-disclosure. Any submission by a support worker on behalf of a student will be made only with the students’ full consent.
